For several months I’ve been making my own salad dressing. I prefer to make my own so we can avoid industrial oils, sugar, high fructose corn syrup, and preservatives. Making salad dressing is so cheap and easy, and you are only limited by your creativity! This creamy parmesan dressing is sure to impress.Creamy Parmesan Dressing Recipe (3)

We all know we need to eat our veggies, but it’s just easier and more delicious when you can drizzle a healthy, flavorful dressing over your salad! Salads make a quick, easy, nutritious lunch, and it’s even easier to get your daily vegetable intake if you have a jar of this dressing handy in the fridge. Be sure to also have some protein ready– either beans (cooked yourself or canned), hard-cooked eggs, pre-cooked meat, cheese, nuts, etc.– in addition to your favorite vegetable toppings.

Packages of pre-washed salad greens are another way to make salads quicker and more convenient. When you don’t have to wash or chop lettuce, having a delicious and good-for-you plateful takes just a few minutes! Just don’t forget to top it with this. 🙂

If you’re looking for more salad ideas, check out this Beef Fajita Salad, or one of my favorites, Avocado Salad with Bacon— both of which would be great with this dressing.

This is one of my family’s very favorite salad dressings. Even my husband, who doesn’t typically like creamy salad dressings, really enjoys this parmesan dressing recipe. We hope you love it too!

I’m in love with you, you must know that!! It grates on my last nerve when I go to someone’s house and they bring out bottled dressing full of “nasties”. This recipe is going on my list of “make now” because I love creamy parmesean and I make my own mayo. Sounds like a match made in heaven.

I hope you enjoy the recipe! It really is one of my favorites. I find, you can’t hardly go wrong making your own salad dressing. Cheaper, tastier, healthier and super easy :).

I would just skip the Worcestershire Sauce because it contains high fructose corn syrup, but other than that, it looks good.

Actually, not all worcestershire has HFCS. Lea and Perrins is one that does not. 🙂 Also, the book Restocking the Pantry (affiliate link) has a recipe for worcestershire but I haven’t yet had a chance to make it. The other condiment recipes in the book are great though!

Thanks for that info and book reference – good to know. I am looking at a Lea and Perrins bottle of Worcestershire Sauce right now and HFCS is in the ingredient list, but maybe they make one that does not as well? I like the idea of making my own:-)

That is SO odd because I just went and got my bottle out and there is NO HFCS. My label says “All Natural Lea & Perrins The Original Worcestershire Sauce” I wonder if there are different varieties? I didn’t know that there were! It’s actually one of the reasons I purchase L&P because the other cheaper varieties all have HFCS. I have been wanting to try making my own though so I know exactly what is in it!

That is so odd, because my bottle has HFCS as the 3rd ingredient and it also says “The Original…” just like yours. In any case, I’m throwing out that bottle and I am so happy to try this recipe making my own Worcestershire Sauce. Isn’t this just a great lesson in label reading?! Ha ha!

My husband would so love this dressing!
How long will it store in the fridge?

I’ve had it in the fridge for up to a week without any problems. Beyond that, I can’t say. Usually we use it up in just a day or two.
